We want to be clear about what Easeful is, what it isn't, and what to do if you need real, human support right now.
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline — call or text 988 (United States & Canada). Available 24/7, free, confidential.
Crisis Text Line — text HOME to 741741 (US, UK, Ireland, Canada).
Outside those regions? findahelpline.com lists crisis services for most countries.
Immediate emergency? Call your local emergency number (911, 999, 112, etc.) or go to your nearest emergency room.
Easeful is a supportive self-care app. It offers a friendly AI companion, guided breathing, mood tracking, and gentle reflection exercises designed to help you pause and check in with yourself during an ordinary day.
If Easeful's AI detects language suggesting imminent harm — to yourself or others — the conversation will pause and the app will show a clear crisis resource card with the hotlines listed above. The AI will not try to continue the chat in those moments. This is intentional: when someone is in crisis, a real person who is trained to help is the right next step, not an AI.
Easeful is designed for personal reflection. If you're worried about someone you love, please contact the crisis resources above on their behalf, or reach out to a professional in your region. Easeful is not a monitoring or reporting tool.
Easeful is intended for users 13 and older, and users under 18 should have a parent or guardian review these terms with them. See our Terms of Service for full details.
If anything about Easeful's safety approach is unclear, please email [email protected]. We take every message seriously.
