This Privacy Policy describes how Easeful AI ("Easeful," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our iOS application and this website (collectively, the "Service"). We built Easeful to be quiet, private, and respectful of your data by default.
In short: We only collect what's needed to run the Service. We never sell your data. We never use your journal entries or conversations to train public AI models. You can delete everything any time.

If you purchase a subscription, our payment processor (Apple and RevenueCat) provides us with the subscription product identifier, entitlement status, trial status, and renewal dates. We do not receive your credit card number, Apple ID password, or other payment credentials.

We use a small number of carefully-selected service providers. We do not sell data to any of them. They are contractually bound to only process data on our instructions.

Easeful is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please email [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
Our servers are located in the United States. If you access Easeful from outside the US, your information may be transferred to and processed in the US. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your data.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your CCPA rights, email [email protected].
If we make material changes, we will notify you inside the app and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
